De-stress the test! Come to our free ACT test prep session at the Scott County Government Center computer lab (200 Fourth Ave West, Shakopee). Here's what you'll do in this session:
  • Take an ACT Pre-Test to find out what areas you need to work on.
  • Take a Practice Test in one area of the test and get an estimated ACT score in that area. 
  • Get more FREE resources for working on those areas at home before the real ACT. 
And we'll have breakfast snacks and goofy giveaways, just to ease the pain! Registration is REQUIRED as space is limited to just 16 students, so register before Tuesday, October 17 here or by calling your local library.

  • Include an email address or textable phone number in your registration to have a reminder sent to you before the event.
  • Please enter the main entrance of the Scott County Government Center at 200 Fourth Ave W in Shakopee BETWEEN 8:45 am-9:05am on Wednesday, 10/18 and we will direct you to the computer lab. Bring your calculator with you.

"Senior Surf" Learn to Use the Internet - Free Session for Adults 55+ (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

Adults 55+ are invited to a free session to learn how to use a computer and surf the Internet! These classes are geared to older adults who have little or no experience with computers. Learn how to type in a web address and navigate between web pages, determine if a website is secure, conduct searches using common search engines, and access Internet sites that will assist you in finding information (including Medicare.gov, MinnesotaHelp.info, and more). Registration is required, and space is limited. Teacher demonstrations and examples will get your creative juices flowing and guide you through projects, specific skills, and artistic experiments throughout the class time.
