Scott County Library and Smalltown Eclectic present, Loud! at the Library open mic and art night. Monday May 22nd 6 pm to 8 pm @ the Belle Plaine Library. *Open Mic for ages 12-112 *5 minutes per act *All genres welcome. Please show up at 6 pm sharp to sign up. Piano, acoustic guitar, and bongos will be available for use. *Art Exhibit for all ages *All mediums. The Prior Lake Library Book Club meets 8:00-9:15 pm on the Fourth Tuesday of each month in the fireplace area at the Library. We will read and discuss a different book selection each month. The Savage Writers are a group working together to support each other in their individual pursuits of writing. They are a newly formed group working out how best to help each other. This is a Scott County Volunteer-run program.

Join small town baseball author Doug Nachbar for a discussion of small-town baseball tradition, the history and the stories. Jordan is home to a vibrant baseball community and a beautiful ballpark. Whether you are new to town or a longtime resident, you will enjoy this journey into the history and lore of of those who played throughout some of the turning points in US history. Doug Nachbar is the author of the book, The Best of River Town Small-Ball. All are welcome at this free event, light refreshments will be provided by the Jordan Friends of the Library.
