Adults 55+ are invited to a free session to learn how to use a computer and surf the Internet! These classes are geared to older adults who have little or no experience with computers. Learn how to type in a web address and navigate between web pages, determine if a website is secure, conduct searches using common search engines, and access Internet sites that will assist you in finding information (including Medicare.gov, MinnesotaHelp.info, and more). Registration is required, and space is limited.

"Escape the Upside Down" Escape Room for Teens – REGISTRATION REQ

Ages 12-18. Somehow you've become trapped in a mysterious place called the Upsidedown. Search for secret compartments, find hidden clues, and leverage your skills with your teammates to escape before the demogorgon discovers you. The clock is ticking and you only have ONE HOUR, so teamwork is essential! (Inspired by Stranger Things, but you don't have to be familiar with the show to succeed.)

NOTE: Please arrive on time for this program – latecomers may not be admitted. And if you came to our escape room this summer, no worries - we have all new evil mysteries for you to solve!

Special Library Teen Advisory Board Fundraiser* for ages 19 & up! We've amped up the creepiness a bit for the adults, and tacked on a suggested donation of $10 per person.

Tai Chi for All Ages

Join Ms. Karen for Tai Chi classes! Try this ancient activity to gently build strength, stamina and flexibility.  Our volunteer, Karen, is a certified Tai Chi instructor following the Tai Chi for Health teachings. Karen will lead the class with some tailoring based on the needs of the members in each class. 

Wear everyday clothing and wear shoes with flat soles during class. Please check with your healthcare provider before beginning new activities.  

All ages welcome! This class is intended for a range of ages and familial constellations, including adults and seasoned adults including those who prefer to do their workouts in chair, teens, and children with caregivers in attendance. 

Try a couple of classes this fall and join us for a longer session in the new year!
