Local author Loretta Ellsworth will discuss her new book for adults, Stars Over Clear Lake. Set in Iowa, Lorraine steps into the old Surf Ballroom, and is taken back to the early days of World War II, and the fateful encounter that forced her to choose between her duty and her heart.
Local author Kate Anne Kang will discuss her book, Given Away. This is her story of being sent from Korea to live in the United States at a young age, and growing up in a Scandinavian household in Minnesota, trying to cope with a new family, a new language and a new culture.
